Our monthly fuel levy review takes into account the costs of diesel and the increased cost of AdBlue (a crucial diesel fuel additive). AdBlue, a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), when used in combination with a selective catalytic reduction system (SCR), significantly reduces the harmful nitrous oxide (NOx) gases emitted from our diesel engines’ exhausts by up to 90%.
