Fuel Levy Calculator
Our monthly fuel levy review takes into account the costs of diesel and the increased cost of AdBlue (a crucial diesel fuel additive). AdBlue, a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), when used in combination with a selective catalytic reduction system (SCR), significantly reduces the harmful nitrous oxide (NOx) gases emitted from our diesel engines’ exhausts by up to 90%. This proactive measure demonstrates our commitment to meeting Australian standards, reducing harmful emissions and preserving the health of our planet. Our planet, our responsibility!

Fuel Levy Update 16 April 2026
Fuel prices are still moving around a lot. Prices went up late last week and that showed at the bowser early this week. We’re now starting to see terminal pricing come down slightly, but retail fuel prices are slower to follow. Our fuel levy calculation would normally increase again based on this. However, we’ve made the decision to hold our current rates instead of passing that increase on. We’re keeping these below the full calculated rate to support our customers while fuel pricing settles.
We’ll continue to review weekly and adjust if needed.

Fuel Levy Update 9/4/26
Fuel pricing remains volatile and continues to rise. To support our customers, Team Transport & Logistics has absorbed part of the current fuel increase rather than pass through the full calculated levy. This means our published levy for the coming period is below the full market calculation as part of our commitment to help keep your freight and business moving. We will continue to review fuel closely in line with market conditions.

Subject: Fuel Levy Update – Temporary Weekly Review
Dear Valued Clients,
As you may be aware, global fuel markets are currently experiencing significant volatility, which is impacting diesel pricing across Australia, including here in Brisbane. To ensure our fuel levy continues to reflect actual operating costs as fairly and accurately as possible, Team Transport & Logistics will temporarily move from monthly fuel levy adjustments to a weekly review. This approach allows us to smooth out fluctuations and avoid large month-to-month movements while keeping the levy aligned with current fuel pricing. The fuel levy will continue to be calculated using the same methodology outlined on our website and published through our normal channels. This weekly review commences each Monday for the week prior and will remain in place until fuel markets stabilise, at which time we will reassess the frequency. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your continued support.
