Our very own “Wayne Murray” competed and completed the 10km “Bridge to Brisbane” annual event on 7th September (Father’s Day)! With his children Lauren and Jack Murray.

sponsored Wayne and his children to enter the event and they did the Team Transport Family and themselves proud.
More than 30,000 entrants took part in the event, which raised more than $680,000 for hundreds of charities and Wayne and his children Lauren and Jack blitzed it and had a ball along the way making it over the line in under 2 hours (1:57:21).
I think one of the greatest outcomes on this Fathers Day was the three of them made a pact to continue to enter and compete each year in the B2B event no matter where they are, how old they are and make it a new family tradition to continue strengthening the family bond they already have.

Family, fitness, fun and creating a positive family culture. It doesn’t need to be Xmas to create new family traditions or connect our future generations so I have been inspired to find myself a new family tradition as good as this one!
